The tractor. The pride and joy of the aspiring farmer. I didn’t really know we needed a tractor. My husband has informed me that “everyone needs a tractor!” Each time I think we have what we need, just like any salesman, the tractor says… “but wait there is more! Have I got a gadget for you! ” A box blade, a rake, a brush hog, a gadget for attaching the gadgets more easily and so and so on. So what is the tractor for? Our family hasn’t grown crops (the corn was grown by a farmer we leased the land to), however, the tractor has been very valuable so far! As we find our way and develop the property into the farm it will be in 10 or 20 years, the tractor is being used to create it!

The tractor we have is the Kubota L3301 and the attachments available appear to be endless! Moving dirt, moving gravel, digging ditches and creating paths all happen with the tractor.

And this little one is my reason for why I want a tractor, to see her learn and grow, spend time with her Pop and Dad, explore the farm, become confident and have a skill I never even thought of. She is as spunky and wild as she is sweet and she loves driving the tractor!
